Location: Miami, Florida (Hybrid – 4 days in-office, 1 day remote)

Salary: $70,000+ annually (flexible based on experience, industry expertise)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Sales Representative to join a leading company in the floral industry. This position is ideal for a highly driven sales professional with extensive experience in fresh cut flowers, floral distribution, floral importing, wholesale flowers, bouquet programs, supermarket floral sales, or related perishables industries.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong network of industry contacts, a proven history of growing sales, and the ability to develop long-term relationships with wholesalers, mass-market retailers, supermarkets, floral distributors, bouquet manufacturers, event companies, and other floral buyers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive revenue growth through the development of new accounts and expansion of existing customer relationships.
  • Manage and grow a portfolio of wholesale, retail, and mass-market floral accounts.
  • Identify new business opportunities within the fresh cut flower industry.
  • Develop relationships with floral wholesalers, floral distributors, bouquet manufacturers, supermarket floral departments, importers, and mass-market retailers.
  • Negotiate pricing, contracts, and supply programs with customers.
  • Collaborate with sourcing, operations, and logistics teams to ensure successful product delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor floral market trends, consumer demand, pricing fluctuations, and competitive activity.
  • Attend industry trade shows, floral events, and customer meetings.
  • Maintain accurate sales forecasts, account plans, and CRM records.

Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years of sales experience, preferably within the floral industry.
  • Strong knowledge of fresh cut flowers, floral products, floral supply chains, and floral distribution channels.
  • Existing book of business and established industry relationships strongly preferred.
  • Experience selling to one or more of the following:
    • Floral wholesalers
    • Floral distributors
    • Importers
    • Bouquet manufacturers
    • Supermarket floral departments
    • Mass-market retailers
    • Garden centers
    • Event and wedding companies
    • E-commerce floral companies
  • Proven ability to achieve and exceed sales targets.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience with account management, business development, and strategic sales planning.
  • Ability to travel as needed to visit customers and attend industry events.
