Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and relationship-driven Sales Representative to join our team in Parma, Ohio. This role is ideal for an individual who enjoys building strong customer relationships, identifying sales opportunities, and delivering exceptional service. An existing book of business is not required—we are looking for someone with strong sales instincts, excellent communication skills, and the drive to grow business within an established customer base while developing new opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers.
  • Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate products and solutions.
  • Generate new business opportunities through proactive outreach and relationship building.
  • Manage customer accounts, ensuring timely follow-up and outstanding service.
  • Prepare quotes, process orders, and coordinate with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely delivery.
  • Achieve and exceed individual sales goals and performance metrics.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activities.
  • Stay informed on product offerings, industry trends, and market opportunities.
  • Collaborate with team members to support overall branch sales objectives.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in sales, account management, customer service, or a related field.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
  • Self-motivated with a results-oriented mindset.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple customer accounts and prioritize effectively.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM systems is preferred.
  • Experience in the horticulture, greenhouse, nursery, landscape, or agricultural industry is a plus, but not required.
