Position Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Buyer / Warehouse & Logistics Coordinator to join a growing organization within the floral industry. This individual will play a critical role in purchasing, inventory management, warehouse coordination, and logistics operations. While experience in the floral industry is a plus, we are open to professionals from related sectors such as produce, food distribution, fruits, perishables, agriculture, or supply chain environments.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, thrives in fast-paced operations, and has strong experience coordinating inventory flow, purchasing, and logistics while ensuring efficiency across warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage purchasing and procurement activities to ensure products and materials are available according to operational needs
  • Monitor inventory levels and maintain accurate inventory records and controls
  • Coordinate incoming and outgoing shipments, deliveries, and transportation schedules
  • Oversee warehouse organization and inventory flow to maximize efficiency and minimize waste
  • Work closely with suppliers, vendors, and internal teams to ensure timely purchasing and delivery processes
  • Forecast inventory needs and identify purchasing trends to support business demands
  • Coordinate logistics activities and assist with improving operational processes
  • Track product movement and maintain accurate documentation and reporting
  • Identify opportunities to improve warehouse systems and operational efficiency
  • Ensure inventory accuracy and maintain quality standards for perishable products
  • Support day-to-day warehouse operations and help resolve supply chain or logistics challenges as they arise
  • Assist in establishing processes and best practices that improve workflow and organization

Qualifications

  • Experience in purchasing, inventory management, warehouse operations, logistics, or supply chain coordination
  • Experience in floral, produce, food distribution, agriculture, perishables, or related industries preferred but not required
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with inventory systems, purchasing systems, or warehouse management software
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills
  • Comfortable working in a hands-on warehouse environment
  • Ability to analyze inventory needs and coordinate logistics effectively
  • Strong sense of urgency and accountability
