Job Description

The position works directly with flower wholesalers selling fresh and premium flowers from around the world. The Account Manager will ensure top-quality customer service and products and build long-lasting relationships with the clients.

 

Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategically develop and manage the market to achieve sales targets and increase market share within the floral industry.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify new business opportunities and trends in the industry.
  • Prospect new customers and expand the customer base on a monthly basis, targeting wholesalers, florists, event planners, online floral retailers, and mass market accounts.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients through regular communication and personalized service.
  • Ensure all orders are processed accurately and executed in a timely manner, coordinating with internal teams to meet customer expectations.
  • Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with supply chain to ensure the availability of products.
  • Create and implement standing order promotions, holiday specials, and seasonal campaigns to drive sales and customer engagement.
  • Analyze the effectiveness of promotional activities and adjust strategies as needed.
  • Collaborate with the product development team to design and introduce new product lines that meet customer needs and preferences.
  • Gather customer feedback and market insights to inform product development and innovation.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive customer experience.
  • Conduct regular follow-ups with clients to assess satisfaction and identify areas for improvement.
  • Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics to senior management.
  • Use data and analytics to make informed decisions and optimize sales strategies

 

Requirements:
  • Experience in the fresh cut flower industry and proven results in the position.
  • Great comprehension of fresh cut flower species and products
  • Proficient in the use of current software and communications networks (Komet sales)
  • Experience in the management of relationships with clients, marketing and promotion of new floral products, order management, supply management and floral market speculation
  • The candidate must possess strong leadership skills, be result driven, excellent time management skills, strong organizational skills, entrepreneurial spirit
  • Detail-oriented.
  • Able to stay organized and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • English language domain

Job Type:

Position based out of Miami. (No remote position)
