Key Responsibilities
- Manage and grow a portfolio of existing customer accounts while identifying opportunities to expand business.
- Build long-term relationships by serving as the primary point of contact for assigned customers.
- Understand customer needs and recommend floral products and programs that align with their business objectives.
- Prepare pricing proposals, quotations, and product recommendations.
- Coordinate with Procurement, Operations, Inventory, and Logistics teams to ensure accurate and timely order fulfillment.
- Monitor customer satisfaction and proactively resolve issues to maintain exceptional service levels.
- Identify new business opportunities within existing accounts and develop new customer relationships.
- Collaborate with Sales leadership to achieve revenue, margin, and customer retention goals.
- Maintain accurate account records, forecasts, and sales activity within CRM systems.
- Stay informed on market trends, flower availability, seasonal products, and pricing to provide valuable guidance to customers.
- Participate in customer meetings, industry events, and trade shows as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in Account Management, Sales, Business Development, or Customer Success.
- Previous experience within the fresh-cut flower industry is strongly preferred.
- Proven ability to build and maintain long-term customer relationships.
- Strong sales, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Experience managing multiple customer accounts simultaneously.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Experience using CRM or ERP systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a customer-first mindset.
- Fluent English required.
- Spanish proficiency is highly preferred.
Preferred Experience
- Experience working with wholesale floral distributors, importers, growers, or bouquet manufacturers.
- Knowledge of flower varieties, seasonality, quality standards, and floral programs.
- Experience serving supermarket, wholesale, retail florist, or mass market customers.
- Familiarity with inventory planning and order management.
- Existing relationships within the floral industry are a plus.
