Salary: $45,000 – $55,000 annually (based on experience) + commission

Overview
A growing floral importer is seeking a motivated and relationship-driven Account Manager to develop and expand its customer base. This role is ideal for someone entrepreneurial, proactive, and experienced in the floral industry, who thrives in building long-term client relationships and driving sales growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and grow a portfolio of wholesale, retail, and event-based floral clients
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through proactive prospecting
- Build strong, long-term relationships with customers to ensure repeat business
- Manage the full sales cycle, from outreach and negotiation to order fulfillment and follow-up
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure product availability and client satisfaction
- Stay informed on market trends, seasonal demand, and product availability
- Achieve and exceed sales targets through consistent performance
Qualifications
- Proven experience in sales or account management within the floral industry
- Strong understanding of floral products, sourcing, and customer preferences
- Established network within wholesale, retail, or event floral segments is a plus
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Results-driven with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary: $45,000 – $55,000
- Commission: 2% on collected sales (within 90 days)
- Performance-based holiday bonuses
