We’re seeking a dynamic and entrepreneurial Global Business Developer to expand our network, strengthen industry relationships, and drive recruitment success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Client Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with U.S.-based wholesalers, floral distributors, and farms in Ecuador and Colombia to uncover talent needs and recruitment opportunities.
  • Lead Generation: Develop a strategic plan to identify and engage potential clients in the floral industry.
  • Talent Pipeline Development: Leverage your industry connections and book of customers to create opportunities for talent placements.
  • Networking and Events: Attend industry conventions, networking events, and client meetings to represent the company and build relationships.
  • CRM Management: Track client and candidate interactions in the CRM, ensuring accurate and timely updates.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with internal recruiters to align on client needs and deliver exceptional talent solutions.
  • Cold Outreach: Conduct cold calling and social media engagement to generate leads and identify client prospects.
  • Strategic Planning: Propose innovative ideas and strategies to grow both the recruitment business and the floral industry.
  • Monthly Reporting: Provide detailed reports on activities, progress, and results via CRM.
  • Market Insights: Stay informed about industry trends and communicate opportunities to the team and clients.

Qualifications

  • Industry Experience: Minimum of 3 years in the floral industry, with established contacts among wholesalers, distributors, and farms in Ecuador and/or Colombia.
  • Recruitment Skills: Experience in business development or recruitment, preferably within a B2B setting.
  • Sales and Communication: Strong sales, negotiation, and networking skills with a proven track record of success.
  • Entrepreneurial Spirit: Self-driven with a passion for growing not only the business but the industry as a whole.
  • Tech Savvy: Proficient with CRM systems and social media platforms like LinkedIn for lead generation and engagement.
  • English Proficiency: Excellent written and spoken English is essential.
  • Cold Calling Expertise: Comfortable reaching out to potential clients and converting them into active leads.
  • Travel Ready: Willing to travel for conventions, client meetings, and networking events, including to the U.S. (Visa preferred).
  • Team Player: Collaborative mindset with the ability to inspire and contribute to the team’s growth.
