Job Description

Location: Remote (United States) – Candidates must be willing and able to travel frequently throughout North America for customer visits, industry events, trade shows, and leadership meetings.

Compensation: Base salary up to $150,000 USD annually, plus performance-based commissions and incentives.

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Vice President of Sales to lead and expand sales operations across North America. This executive-level role is responsible for driving revenue growth, developing high-performing sales teams, strengthening customer relationships, and executing long-term commercial strategies within the floral industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the company’s overall sales strategy to achieve revenue and profitability goals.
  • Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing sales organization.
  • Manage key customer relationships and negotiate major commercial agreements.
  • Identify new business opportunities, market trends, and growth initiatives.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to align sales objectives with company strategy.
  • Analyze sales performance metrics and implement improvements to maximize results.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with growers, wholesalers, mass-market retailers, and other industry stakeholders.
  • Oversee forecasting, budgeting, territory planning, and sales reporting.
  • Represent the organization at trade shows, industry events, and customer meetings.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Agriculture, Horticulture, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of progressive sales leadership experience, including senior management responsibilities.
  • Proven track record of driving significant revenue growth and leading large sales teams.
  • Strong strategic planning, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
  • Experience within the floral, produce, agriculture, horticulture, perishables, or related industries is highly preferred.
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
  • Ability and willingness to travel extensively throughout North America.
