What We’re Looking For:
- A creative and detail-oriented floral designer with a passion for flowers and design trends.
- Strong technical skills in floral arrangement, including bouquets, centerpieces, and event installations.
- A team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can collaborate with other designers and staff.
- Experience with both fresh and artificial flowers, ensuring quality and longevity in every creation.
- Excellent customer service skills to help clients bring their floral visions to life.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and create beautiful floral arrangements for weddings, events, and daily retail sales.
- Maintain the flower shop’s visual appeal by ensuring displays are fresh and creatively arranged.
- Provide expert advice to customers on floral choices, trends, and care instructions.
- Manage floral inventory, including ordering and stocking fresh flowers and supplies.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, seasonal styles, and new design techniques.
- Collaborate with the team to fulfill custom orders and large-scale event projects.
- Ensure all floral products meet quality standards and company expectations.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a floral designer or florist in a retail or event setting.
- Knowledge of floral care techniques and proper handling of flowers and foliage.
- Strong understanding of color theory, balance, and composition in floral design.
- Ability to work with various design styles, from traditional to modern aesthetics.
- Excellent time management skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in processing orders and handling point-of-sale systems (a plus).
